Scope
The express van service covers shipments that fit within the capacity of a minivan or panel van and cannot wait for a larger vehicle, such as spare parts, boxes of samples or materials required at a trade fair. Loads exceeding van capacity are carried by truck or semi-trailer, in which case the process follows the same principles and the price is set by our team. The stages that a van load from Türkiye to Germany passes through are outlined below.
1. Pricing and Load Booking
For minivans and panel vans, the price is calculated instantly by YoourCargo. Once the origin and destination are entered on the Get a Quote page the price is displayed, and the load is then booked on YoourCargo, the platform on which quotes and load management are handled.
2. Planning and Collection
Once the plan is confirmed, the vehicle collects the load from the shipper's address. By this stage the invoice and the documents required for customs should be ready; the documents needed for each load are specified by our team according to its nature.
3. Opening of the Transit Declaration
Çatalca and Kapıkule are our authorised consignor facilities. When the load arrives at one of these facilities the documents are checked, the transit declaration is opened on site and the vehicle is sealed at the same facility, so no separate visit to the customs office of departure is required. 4. Departure at Kapıkule
The vehicle exits Türkiye at the Kapıkule border crossing and continues towards Germany under the transit procedure, with the seal and the transit declaration remaining valid until the load reaches its destination.
5. Delivery in Germany
On arrival, the transit declaration is closed and the load is delivered to the consignee. Our Nuremberg and Ratingen facilities hold authorised consignee status, so for loads bound for them this step also takes place at our own facility, while at other destinations the declaration is closed through the customs formalities on arrival.
