Small Batch Shipments

Loads Too Small for a Full Truck

Many shipments between Türkiye and Europe consist of only a few pallets, such as a first order from a new supplier, a trial batch for a European buyer or a top-up delivery to a distributor, and booking a whole truck for these rarely makes sense. The paperwork, however, is the same as for a large load, and a small shipment still requires complete customs documents, a transit declaration and a clear delivery plan.

Part Load

With part load transport, pallets share a vehicle with other shippers' goods, so a small order does not carry the cost of an entire truck. The transit declaration is opened at our authorised consignor facility in Çatalca or Kapıkule, and for shipments to Nuremberg or Ratingen it is closed at our own facilities there, as these are also authorised consignees; the details are set out on the customs and transit page.

As orders grow and begin to fill a truck, shipments can move to full load transport, while for a single carton or a very small consignment, an express van is the more suitable option.
